MY HEALTHY MORNING ROUTINE

 

Hi my dear ones,
I hope as always that you are doing well! Many of you, who have been following me on various social media pages for a long time, know that I have changed a lot during the last few months. One can say that I have reversed my life: from food to self-love and to new habits. I feel completely well in my skin and also my new morning routine contributes daily to it.

The whole thing starts with getting up in the morning. I try not to use the sleep function of my alarm as the multiple wake ups usually make more tired.
Immediately after waking up, I try to put my mobile away and not to spend hours on the social media networks.

I try to get up every morning a bit earlier than necessary to get ready for the rest of the morning. Then I usually stand up immediately and open windows and curtains to let fresh air and light into my bedroom. I love to be awake when the city is half asleep. Since I usually get up so early, I sometimes allow myself the luxury to lay a few minutes under my warm blanket again. Instead of spending the whole morning on my mobile phone, I try to read a few pages in a book. I am not the biggest reader, but reading a few pages helps me to wake up in the morning.

Mostly I read about 15 minutes, it is not much, but it relaxes me very much. When I’m finally ready to get up, I’ll make my bed immediately. It took me a long time to get used to it, but it takes only a few minutes and makes a huge difference. Whenever I come home after a long day, I am happy about my freshly made bed.

Then comes the best part of the whole morning: breakfast! My breakfast always falls out as my day is planned. I am a huge fan of long, substantial breakfast but unfortunately, I do not always have time for it. On weekdays, when I go to college, I usually eat a large bowl full of oatmeal, soy yogurt, and fresh fruit. For this, I drink a hot glass of water with lemon and a fruit tea. I often pack this breakfast and eat it in the university.

Furthermore, I have successfully got used to drinking more and more tea and fruit water instead of drinking coffee YAY!

After that, I’m already dressing and leave the house. On weekends, when I spend more time at home I usually begin to answer emails, write blog posts or edit youtube videos.
